Brushing & Detangling
Use a wide-tooth comb or a loop brush to gently detangle the extensions before and after wearing them.
Start from the ends and work your way up to avoid unnecessary pulling or breakage.
Washing Routine
Wash the extensions only when necessary (after every 10-15 wears or when product buildup occurs).
Use a sulfate-free, alcohol-free shampoo to maintain moisture and prevent dryness.
Lukewarm water is best; avoid hot water as it can damage the hair cuticle.
Conditioning & Moisturizing
Always apply a hydrating conditioner after shampooing to keep the hair soft and manageable.
A deep conditioning treatment once a month can help restore moisture.
Avoid applying conditioner near the clips to prevent slippage.
Drying
Pat dry gently with a microfiber towel to remove excess water.
Let them air dry on a flat surface or a hanger to maintain their natural shape.
Avoid blow-drying, but if necessary, use a low heat setting with a heat protectant.
Styling
Use heat tools sparingly and always apply a heat protectant spray beforehand.
When using curling irons or straighteners, keep the temperature below 350°F (180°C).
Minimize Shedding & Maintain Clips
Avoid excessive tugging when brushing or styling.
Check the clips regularly to ensure they remain secure and replace any loose ones if needed.
